Unexpected Influencers
We showed young workers that workplace accidents can happen when and where they least expect them by surprising them with workplace accidents when and where they least expected them - on Instagram and Tinder.
Instagram
On Instagram, we created got micro-influencers to post the "before" photos of "their friend" and encourage their followers to click through to their "friends" profile. When they did, instead of the expected selfies and inspirational quotes, visitors were met with a graphic workplace accident and questions they can ask their employers and themselves to stop an accident like it from happening to them.
Tinder
On Tinder, we posted the 'before' photo as our profile photo, hiding the 'after' photos until potential dates clicked on our profile. Our account got banned a whole bunch of times, but not before getting our message in front of a ton of young workers across the GTA.
